I know anyone with the slightest interest in this trial knows this by now, but civil rights attorney Lynne Stewart, whom I know through her support of Farouk, has been convicted of, I think, all the charges against her including conspiracy to provide material support to commit mass murder.

I wish I could have been present more in her trial. She will be appealing I hear. So I’m directing supporters to continue to contribute to her legal fund. Visit lynnestewart.org.

Those of you interested in looking beyond the despicable public grandstanding of Attorney Generals Ashcroft and Gonzales and probing beneath media’s coverage of her trial, the transcripts for the proceedings up to her conviction are here.

Below is the reading of the verdicts.
