2012 has been a breakthrough year for Enemy Alien as well as for Life or Liberty's next project, the Tule Lake Documentary.

Support Needed in Summer/Fall 2012

The current funding needs for Life or Liberty are:

ENEMY ALIEN Indiegogo campaign
Outreach for the feature documentary Enemy Alien

Many grassroots organizations and schools have expressed interest in screening Enemy Alien for community building, organizing and education. Having the director present for the discussion adds to the impact of these events, but many organizations have limited resources to support travel and other costs.

Enemy Alien has been purchased for the collections of more than a dozen universities, and has received a recommendation from the well-regarded Booklist. To reach classrooms we need funding to edit a 60-minute version.

By September 2012 we need to raise $19,100 to cover the outreach and distribution budget for this film and for director-attended screenings in the coming year, including:

DisOrient Film Festival & University of Oregon, April 2012
Tule Lake Pilgrimage, June/July 2012
Japanese American National Museum, September 2012
Middle East Caucus of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies, March 2013
